Newport News, VA (April 25, 2012) – The Board of Directors at Virginia Company Bank
(www.vacompanybank.com) is excited to announce the opening of their new banking office and
corporate headquarters at City Center at Oyster Point in Newport News on Monday, April 16.
The Bank’s current Oyster Point banking office closed on Friday, April 13.
“We are all very excited to be moving into our new corporate headquarters and banking office
location on Merchants Walk in City Center,” said Bank President and CEO Mark Hanna. “Our
new location will feature a drive through that will allow for better service to our existing clients,
and hopefully attract attention from new ones.”
Located across from Jos. A. Bank and Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar and Grill (still under
construction) in City Center, the new corporate offices and Newport News banking office boasts
approximately 13,500 square feet in size, as well as an expanded drive through for added
convenience. The building was designed by Caro Monroe Liang Architects and constructed by
Oyster Point Construction.
The six year old bank currently has two other branches at High Street in Williamsburg and
Coliseum Central in Hampton.
